Laender House opens fully to the surrounding landscape. The design blurs the boundaries between interior and nature, drawing the mountains into the heart of the home. The structure is bold: the larger upper floor hovers over the forest.

Access is via a steep road along the upper part of the site, where the house is located. The lower part remains covered in native vegetation. A ramp at the bottom of the street leads to the lower floor with technical areas. The main entrance is at the middle level, where a walkway connects to the living spaces and private rooms above.

The roof shelters independent, low-lying volumes. At the centre is a bright, open living room with panoramic mountain views. On one side are the kitchen, sauna, and stairs; on the other, the private wing runs along the pool, ending in a master bedroom that juts out into the landscape. A small open pavilion rests lightly on the ground, sheltered, yet open to the surrounding nature.
