Largo das Forras, Tiradentes, Minas Gerais, Brasil

The existing wall adjacent to the historic manor at Largo das Forras will be removed to transform its courtyard into a small square, an open and inviting civic space. This new square will invite both locals and visitors to gather, rest, and engage with their surroundings in an inclusive setting.

Beneath the ground level, a flexible exhibition space will be created to showcase the layered history of the city and the everyday lives of its people. This subterranean volume will serve as a quiet, contemplative counterpoint to the activity above, offering an intimate environment for reflection and learning.
